Carrying around a camera, video camera, and tape recorder was a huge inconvenience, but when you are a private investigator these items are necessary to collect evidence for your clients. With the advent of modern technology, my job is a lot easier. Video cameras are much smaller, recorders have tiny, powerful microphones, and I have a lighter hidden camera for surveillance work. This is one of my most useful tools when I am hired to catch a cheating spouse in the act. Nothing proves infidelity like photographs. Sometimes this is all it takes for an unfaithful spouse to mend their ways and their relationship.
