Digital Video Recorders  

Digital Video Recorders or 'DVR' for short refer to a device that can record either wired or wireless cameras video and/or audio and record it to some sort of digital media.  Not loo long ago, VCR or Beta Tapes were the only means for the end cosumer to afforable record home video.  Nowadays the digial era allows for hundreds of digital video recording methods. 

Most DVR's today use the every shrinking digital SD memory card.  The very same one's used in your digital camera and other household appliances.  There very small and offer loads of space.  Some DVR's come with a built in camera, for example our micro DVR camera, Belt camera, or Pen Camera.  DVR's also come in the form of a higher end system that utilizes a computer hard drive for storage and can accept 4,8, or up to 16 cameras at once!
